How to rank many internal pages top 10

I have a site and I am putting up content every other day it's growing slowly and traffic is finally on the rise. I target super low comp keywords and have a bunch of "misses" that are naturally ranking top 100 to even second page with no link building. What I want to do is give a boost to some of the 1-2k/mo keywords that are in top 50 positions and push ones that are 5-10 into the 1-4 traffic spots. Basically if I'm tired of leaching money into this site and want some growth

Budget isn't a huge issue finally making money online (ty blackhat world) the issue is sustainable business cause I have a lot of money invested in content already on this site and have no interest in starting over.
