How to rank higher on google maps?

Hello,

Any tips and tricks on how to rank higher on google maps? I am on the bottom of the list for any keywords that I am interested in it. Google My Business listing is optimized.

I have great reviews, but guess what, some noname business with 2-3 reviews and no website are on top of me...

As i said, build local citations and check that your NAP consistency, it's the most valuable ranking factor along with reviews.

Also check that your listing is really optimized with keywords, location and all the other parameters.

Keep Your Hours Updated
Optimize Your Listing Description
Properly Categorize Your Business
Add Photos to Your Maps Listing
Get Google Reviews
Consolidate Your Maps Listings

There are several ranking factors especially for maps pack SEO like GMB Optimization
 
- Tell Your Clients to give review if they are satisfied
- Use social media schema markups,
- Optimize home page
- Respond to reviews if someone have some problem (it shows you are concerned about the clients satisfacation)
- Post Offers, images , give updates about your business frequently
- Briefly describe your Business
 
Everything that was mentioned here + GMB posts with your keyword.

Make sure you have everything as the first position has. Images, all info filled...

adding into
- write more than 700 words for your company description
- add labels if you have multiple locations
- add hashtags in your post and offers.
 
Try GMB optimization for your stuff on Google maps, since that is a determining factor for high ranking on Google maps. Use all the ticks that have already been mentioned above. I can also emphasize on getting good reviews since Google takes its users to the best sites
