I'm getting a fair amount of traffic for alternativeto.net, however I'm only the 10th ranked alternative to the main product, and I'm not sure how I could rank higher.
The time sink of setting up accounts, making them appear human and all from different IPs, doing stuff that's not related to liking the product, etc, seems pretty high.
I've not been able to find alternativeto.net ranking as a service though - has anybody seen this being sold before? I'd happily pay reasonable rates for it, but the google search "alternativeto.net" site:http://www.blackhatworld.com/ gives basically nothing but junk.
