15 should really be a maximum for a new site as long as don't want to get Sandboxed by Google.

And I agree that MSN traffic is great. These are the people which you can most easily fool into clicking your links.

edit: shit i cant find any of my google listings on msn, how long does it take for msn to index stuff?

yeah ive got the top two positions in google for my main keyword, but msn prob sees ages as something of great importance, i dont think im listed at all on msn. Yeah google loves the url, squidoo, and digg. I dont care if anyones saying squidoo and other social medias were slapped, they are still good for google juice.

Wow. Im 3rd in google at some phrase and i just checked MSN and im 1st there =) Didnt even know its so easy lol.

i managed to find a couple of links in page one for my main keyword, although the title does not match the description lol. it looks so screwed up! msn search sucks for my niche D: guess it needs to be a bigger niche.

also for idea with msn thing : think about two profiles of peoples ( potential customers - any niche / any product's / services .... )

who's using msn for search engine ? short-long answer : 1. first of all some experienced peoples and marketers who are bored about search on google finding what they are looking for on first page of MFA sites .... 2. newbies which installing fresh windows ( and ie7 for example ) choosing the default options ( IE7 when is installed giving a way to change the default search engines - and default one is msn search engine of course - most of non tech peoples and peoples who's doing installations like routine work .... hope you got the idea ) ; This being said let's make a small experiment , install one fresh windows on one computer and leave default search engine go and type directly on the browser one misspelled domain name chose any of them ! see what is return ... At this point anyone figure both type of profile of peoples who are using this search engine are highly potential customers why ? think yourself who are your potential customers ! ( tech peoples and of course the monkey's who aren't even bother to customize the browser's .. )

Now ... of course msn have different search engine algorithm they need to do things different than any other search engines because they can't copy what google or yahoo doing . From my experience testing loads of scripts and software's ... I found something strange with msn ranking *( naturally ranking with no effort at all ) advanced CMS's ( joomla / drupal / vivvo / vbulletin - and many others ) , way how the code is write and how is output on search engines spiders view will give you far away better chances to rank high on there ! Another important thing which I found it's the ip reversed for msn have importance why ? don't know but shared hosting accounts aren't performing same like dedicated ip location of the ip also ...

MSN does my nut in. I can get ranked for my words really quickly #1 - for a new domain - then over time they fall away. Have one that I cannot even finf in serps and used to be #1.

Yeah, smiley backlinks. I read about that a while ago but never tried it out. I'll see if I can dig up the thread.
