We all know that google knows user intent but what if I want to rank an article for a keyword which has user buying intent?

For example,
I want to rank for the keyword "dslr camera"
If you put this in google, for sure you will see a lot of brands with picture and where to buy them.

What if I want to rank for this keyword but my site is not ecom site. What would you do?

My guess is you need to prove your authority to G. Those sites only rank for "dslr camera" because they have keyword cannibalization working in their favour, where they target the same keyword multiple times on different pages. Apparently works well for Ecom SEO. And they are authoritative in different niches, so google says who else is gonna provide the best result, these guys!
So if i was you id just build a kickass site on "dslr cameras". Cover every aspect about "Yourkeyword" and see what happens. Interlinking becomes your lubrication to help kick off the rise to the top. The mroe content you have that the top sites dont have the closer you will get to the top. Its possible to beat them, you just gta go down the authoritative route.

What you think?
