Hi everyone, I have a quick question.
What are the main factors that make a Reddit post rank well in Google search?
Is it just about the subreddit authority and upvotes, or are there other SEO techniques I should know about?
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Keywords in title ,post body and comments.Comments is most important factor in ranking and also the karma of the accounts that created those comments.It shows Google its an active discussion.

Drive Engagement (The Most Critical Step)​



A Reddit post with zero engagement has zero chance of ranking. Upvotes and, more importantly, comments are powerful signals to both Reddit and Google.

  • Upvotes: Initial upvotes help your post gain visibility on the subreddit, leading to more views and further engagement.



  • Comments (The SEO Goldmine): The comments section is where the magic happens. Every comment adds more relevant, user-generated content to the page. The discussion itself can contain dozens of related keywords and phrases, helping your post rank for a wider range of queries.



  • Reply to Every Comment: When users comment, reply to them. This keeps the conversation going, increases the total amount of content on the page, and signals to the algorithm that this is a lively and valuable discussion.
 
If you can make the post really successful on reddit with a lot of upvotes and comments, that is likely going to be enough. Posting the link to some other popular and relevant subs might help as well.
