I believe I maybe more of a newbie I somewhat understood your article. It is sage advice but I am unfamiliar with the vast majority of the terminology. Is there terminology key out there with definitions for the beginner.
 
The basic concepts outlined by the OP still work well. Important to treat your web 2.0 properties just like money sites, ie real human content, do not spam them with GSA, I would only ever use GSA for third tier, for second tier get some cheap PBN posts, social bookmarks etc. Also utilise Yahoo Answers, Quora, forum posting, blog posting, all these are excellent sources of backlinks and traffic if done properly.
 
@lightningblitz what if first page results are authority sites, have decent backlinks, but dont have on-page optimization like in title , url, description or even in whole post? is it worth a try? help me out here

Your guide is pretty good but I don't agree with few things:

1.Web 2:0 links are too dangerous
2. Public PBN is not an option because is something out of your control.
 
100% Agree with your post, Social Bookmarking, Social Media marketing, Article Submission & Blog Comments can help in good seo ranking for your site.
