How to Rank - A Quick Guide for Newbies

So.. my list of preferred Web 2.0s comes down to the Web 2.0s which stick. I decided to start a split test over one year ago to see which Web 2.0s would stick the longest. I got a list of the 50 most common Web 2.0s and kept checking on them. Til today, using the Web 2.0s for different sites, different KWs, some blasted with spam, and a litany of other filters, here is my short list of Web 2.0s which last the longest:

Can i get more list of web 2.0 you usually use? I already post some web 2.0s to your web 2.0 stick list that you mentioned in this quote. It already give rank movements for me.
I know there is some thread on BHW about web 2.0 list, i just want to know from you. work greats for me! ;)

Thanks.

Right, what is the strength of the domains in Top 10? Search volume really does not matter.

Congratulations friend, great contribution is very good and complete your guide is very helpful for new users

Very Helpful, I'm new here and on SEO altogether so it's a lot of information to take in but guides like these are definitely going to be of help to newbies to SEO like me.

Is this applicable to foreign websites in foreign language. I have a french website that I want to rank for. Is ok to have english language links going to a french website?
Please advise me.

Your an amazing teacher, thank you sir!
Would you recommend this method for all purposes, meaning churn'n'burn as well as client seo. I'm still fairly wet behind the ears when it comes to seo but I'm really starting to get a grasp of it, largely thanks to your efforts.

Great work mate.. excellent contribution for people who are always inquisitive on how to rank.. (Y)

Thank you for the amazing ranking method. What do you think about expired tumblr blogs with high metrics ? Are they even better for buffering ?

Great Guide.. thanking you right now.. this will help many of us forever.

I no longer use GSA. I shaved a few of the link building elements for easy KWs. I still focus on 301 URL shorteners, Profile Links, Manual Blog Comments, Web 2.0s. That is the core of my strategy.

1. List of Profile Links:

Such an amazing share of "List of Profile Links"! Thank you!

By the way, I still use GSA for linkbuilding, even though it is much more troublesome to get good links out of it. I'm subscribed for GSA SER bought lists (there are a few good sellers on the Internet) and use mainly blog comments. I made an experiment with GSA this winter: I bought a domain, made a landing for quite a competitive word and started posting 50 blog comments a day with the help of GSA, each comment on unique domain. Sure thing, GSA was not that consistent and posted more than one backlink on the same website quite often, but it is not a big problem. Eventually, it took me 3 months to get on top-10 of the desired keyword with around 1000 domains visible in Google Webmaster Tools.
