How to Rank - A Quick Guide for Newbies

Thanks for the share :) Really useful info, I really appreciate you putting it together.

Would you use web 2.0 that only allow no follow link as bumper site?

I try to stick to Do Follow (Which I mention). Some No Follow are for natural diversity. But I am pretty sure I mention make sure you pick Do Follow platforms only. Some sites may have changed since this was posted.

Great stuff! I hands up for your knowledge sharing and tips. Really this will help to get keywords on higher position. If they will work properly by using white hat SEO, I am sure your ideas will work.

Cheers,

Nice Sharing OP. We are really appreciate it. i have question about:

1. Spun article, i am never using spinner before because what i do just converting my old article from my main sites ( native language ) to english and then post it to Web 2.0. Of course i checked it first for plagiarism. is it better than spun article?

2. How about the Niche that main site get from Web 2.0/Pumper sites? Is it doesn't matter to have many different Niche? Would Google know if link from Web 2.0s is not relevant? Because it is hard to control your niche if you want blast huge backlinks to Web 2.0s. ( Or is this what called Diversity? )

Thanks you..

I have over 150 article on my website and only 25-30 are important in terms of monthly search and keyword value. Site is 2 years old and never built regular link on any 1 article but always spread it over several and that may be the reason majority of the keywords rank in page 2 onwards.

I recently added over 37 articles of 1000 words each . What should be my linkbuilding strategy next?>

As you mentioned above, one must rank 1 keyword then move on to others. Would google find it fishy if 1 article in the website is getting several links while others are getting none.?

I never published web2.0 for this website but have many posts in PBNs(gifted by friend). Can I use these blogposts as pumper sites?

I am also thinking to start GSA on money site ( for about 10 articles), what should I do to keep it safe?>

Translated articles are better than spun. If you can translate them go ahead and use them.

You want the content on the Web 2.0 linking out to your site to be niche relevant. As long as it is close you are good to go.

Do not blast your PBN with GSA. They should be strong enough as it is.

I would suggest you do light link building to all articles. Social sharing when it is posted, a couple comments, etc.

Focus on ranking one KW at a time. That means time consuming pumper sites or expensive PBNs should focus on getting one KW to the top and not all at once.

Hi
Thanks for the great thread! Can i have a question?
After the brand new Web2.0s are done how long should i wait before i start blasting them with GSA?
Should wait a week or two or can i start right away and after the links are indexed post one more article and link it to my site?
thank you!

I always suggest taking it slow and building a tier two or contextual links or 301 short links (I would actually suggest both) before firing away.

I drip Contextuals in for about 30 days. Then I blast contextuals that stick for about 90 days. That always does the trick.

So, My plan for the next 1 week:

1. For 10 articles that are currently ranked in 2 and 3 page with high keyword search, I will build 12 web2.0s each. The articles will be readable but spun. After publishing them , I will start drip feeding them after 7 days and continue to do that for 30 days. After that I will blast these drip feed links for 90 days at constant rate.

2. Will share 5 to 7 articles on social media every day considering I have 150 articles in my website.

3. For the money website, will build social bookmarking links throughout the website and post blog comments again on the most important 10 articles mentioned in first point.

4. Finish the infograph and use it to get authority link.

Determined to execute this. Since I know that a very similar website to mine with just $20 earning a day was sold on flippa for $25K.

Make sure those social media accounts are on their own account and not linked to your personal. If you sell the site it adds value to have social media accounts you sell with the site.

Your plan sounds good. Also save all Web 2.0 log ins so you can use them later if you sell the site and also to minimize blog comments and book marks. Twenty of each total is as you need to pass some juice and get crawlers to your site. More is not better despite how people sell them in the marketplace.
