How to rank a new website?

I have several niche sites that are 1-3 months old. The have rich content, link out to relevant sources and generally cover everything about their topic in really good quality.

The keyword competition is quite low in all the niches. In my main niche there are websites with much lower quality or generally have links only from low quality sources like directories. The only factor that helps them rank is probably their age. I purchase link here from good sellers and also buy articles in magazines in my language (which are unique and of better quality). But the effort does not pay off so far.

How do you rank new websites?

How long ago did you buy the links? Have you checked to see if those links are even indexed? Are you tracking rankings? Is your on page SEO over optimized?

I buy the links quite regularly. The magazine links are 1 month ago and the links from BHW are quite new (1,5 month the oldest) and I have a bunch of new link reports delivered this week. The links are currently being indexed with use of Link Huggers and Link Centaur.

The content is best when compare with competition. Let say wikpedia-like on that certain topic. On-page SEO is carefully implemented. Main keyword in title, H1, somewhere in H2 and in firts paragrahp. Rest is several paragraphs on that topic. That site also contains several related subpages. Links are being built so only thing that comes to my mind is the factor of time. But I dont know - I think that 3 months should be enough to rank easy niche.

My website has these Majestic SEO metrics and is currently no. 8 for the main keyword:

so there have been no changes in the serps at all?

it can take some time to see results (but you will see something whether positive or negative), as there are random ranking transition filters and other things that are implemented by the algo to detect spam. heres a screenshot of some churn and burn I did recently. took a long time to see results. This was done with SER for a medium comp keyword. I used a parasite of course, but this is just to show the way the algo is. If you have not seen ANY results, I would be checking to see if those links have been indexed or not with scrapebox.

These are "crappy" links doing this.

This week it got no. 7 and now dropped to no. 8, but no drastic changes like you had with your website. More like nothing happening. Probably I have to give more time for the links to get indexed (despite using the indexers mentioned above.)

here is a newish website i am working on with much lower metrics than yours. This keyword is a higher end of low comp. I was able to rank at about number 70 with just on page and no links to the website. This is really more of a tester website than anything because there are some things I am observing as I go, but maybe it will help you.

All the links to this particular page are web 2.0 and internal links (silo-ish structure). I have not built any tiers to the web 2's or anything (yet). I could rank this a lot faster, of course, but like I said just a test.

All the pages where my links are placed are indexed immediately. This is why I see increases. Basically to rank a new website, you build it out, and build links internally and externally to rank it. They key is to make sure those pages get indexed.

You can see in my screenshot from the self hosted "new" website that the ranks go higher then drop a few and level out. That is the transition rank period. Totally normal to lose a few spots.
