How to rank a new restaurant website?

Hi guys, in your opinion what is the best way to rank a new restaurant website? I know that linkbuilding and GMB are really important as well as on page SEO, competitor analisis, keywords focused on local SEO... But does having a really active blog is effective? If so, which type of content should in it I create? Should I create social accounts even if I will not have that much time for creating content?

Yes, having a blog could help. Maybe post recipes or food tips or facts.
Definitely create social accounts as well, they won't magically help organic SEO but some people might find you through social media.

That way your business info and website get seen everywhere when searching for your specific food.

I did one for a client was easy because of the 3rd party service...

All I done was the website and then they added their business to the 3rd party.

Of course, website was also on the 3rd party system.

Let say a person wants Chinese in the area the business registered the website comes up.

Of course, you got to add google maps but that normal SEO these days

Don't need much SEO as the Uber eats and google map link push the showing of URL/restaurant in the area.

Plus getting maintenance monthly fee for SEO, and that very little work unless google eats go bust and if so just ask them to join a different delivery company.

Easy $350 month sitting on your arse lol

But my best ever winner is using a delivery service with website added and a link back to website.

Yes it is always good to have a blog which will drive relevant traffic. Also you must have a social media account especially instagram so you can connect with your visitors on instagram and keep them posted every week or so with new updates related to your restaurant.

Another thing I suggest get an app version of your website so the eating clients can pay directly for their food and increase business go to them only

• make keyword research and check if there are some people already searching for some related terms that could be used in a blog
• check how competitors are doing and on which keywords they are ranking
• build some good user-friendly website with good content
• buy quality links
• Social media can work well for such a website, I see it as a must to use

Ranking restaurant websites are relatively easy IMO as there are ton of expired domain in your niche can be used as PBNs

Definitely a blog will help, If I am at your place I could have posted about Food recipies and food vlogs, making of your famous dish etc... You really can do wonders in your blog, just hit the right spot and keep on following that.

What do you show in your monthly Maintainance activity report after the initial one-time work?

Do local blogger outreach and hit Tripadvisor hard

Backlinks will help for sure.

For local businesses it's all about letting the search engines interns track and listen to your customers every word and movement. Search engines love to spy on people you know.

A nice trustworthy intern wants to SEE AND HEAR your restaurant.

(Also the search engines themselves will likely rank higher than you in every search and the most valuable click will be theirs.)

So, what exactly?

1) Ask your restaurant visitors to turn on GPS and open the microphone for the kind search engine reps to listen in on their conversation

2) Ask your customers to speak positive words into the smartphone microphone like "great restaurant" "hmmm this boiled frog is delicious" while inside the restaurant with GPS and microphone on. 6) When online make sure to pander and sockpuppet search engine reps, suck their balls, massage their ego lots to get positive manual reviews when one of their corrupt incel loser depressive POS snitches visit your site to check "search quality" while pretending they can't read.

Yeah ! Creating social presence and being active is very important these days to attract clients.

Try to make interesting content and interact with your audience.

And all these needs a consistent effort, so being patient and trying consistently will work out.

I have also ran a EDDM campaign for a restaurant with great success. Its an easy upsell too and can bring them a great ROI
makes you look like a champ too because traffic can increase immediately while you wait for you SEO work to gain traction

That is correct decision.
I would recommend you to learn new every day and spend at least 1-1.5 hours to learning the stuff and new ways. If you want higher ranking you need to do your best and do a bit more than your competitors.

It's a great start to work on your SEO.
Advertising and promoting your content helps to improve traffic.
Having a blog will help you to improve traffic too.
Make your content interesting for all sorts of readers with fascinating headings.
You can add attractive images to it and also some useful tips to get the reader's attention.
Keep your site unique from the competitor.
Make your site fast and responsive.
