    Hello Folks :D

    I have a very non-competitive keyword. I want to rank number 1 in Google with it. Please let me know how can i do this. I read too many freaking SEO books, but i couldn't find the answer.

    Thanks!

    Are all those SEO books only telling you how to rank on # 2 spot in google?
    If not you could simply apply their advises to rank #1 as well.

    That's pretty funny. :cool::lol:

    @OP - how uncompetetive is it? If it's really that noncompetetive then all you should really have to do is make a somewhat decent site, do a basic amount of onsite optimization, and then start making backlinks. If the competetion is low enough then you should be able to just purchase a small bookmarking and directory submission package from someone in the bst forum, and then do a lot of manual comment posting on related blogs.

    The thing is though, if it's really that noncompetetive then whats the point? You'll be sitting there in the #1 position for some keywords that noone is searching for.

    edit - you could try the service crazyflx has posted in his sig. If its a noncompetetive niche then that kind of promotion would probably almost gaurantee you the #1 position for sure.
