How to quickly and amicably exchange knowledge with administrators of other websites. Since my website traffic is not very high, how can I increase the success rate of exchanging website links?

There are lots of website owners in this forum. You can try to propose an exchange with them

Link exchanges are dead and I won't even recommend if people still do it. Your best bet to acquire links is to offer to pay for it from said webmasters.

Expecting anyone to exchange links with you especially when their site is getting lots of traffic, is a big mistake.

Offer to pay them then see how it goes.

I'm assuming you want links from sites that are doing well on Google.

When you build a website you are in 2 camps I find.

1. "Hi, my website is new and far from looking authoritative and yet I want to manipulate as many links as I can"

2. "Hi, my website is aged, and updated regularly, and I automatically get high natural linking traffic pages as links"

I'm in camp 2, as I get good links for my updated authority sites, and keep them updated. That's why I don't care about manipulating new links (which you don't need to do, if you do correct marketing)

Where do you place your tent? :)

Are you interest in making a link exchange?

Tailor your pitch to their site—highlight content relevance and audience match over raw traffic. Start with smaller but niche-relevant sites, and sweeten the deal with social media shares or a guest post.

You’ll get a lot farther if you lead with something valuable rather than “Hey, let’s swap links.” Try reaching out with a genuine compliment about a recent article or resource they published, then casually mention that you’ve been working on something complementary and would love to trade notes. If you can share even a small piece of data or an insight you’ve uncovered—like “We ran a quick experiment on optimizing page load for mobile and saw a 15% boost in time on site”—it shows you’re not just after a backlink. When admins see you can bring something interesting to the table, they’re much more open to swapping links or guest posts, even if your traffic isn’t huge yet. Over time, that goodwill builds into real relationships and bigger opportunities.
