how to put adsense on a bans content page?

i was wondering if there's any way to do this. when i insert it into the editor it escapes stuff and doesn't work.

the built-in adsense thing seems to work only for store pages for some reason.

i'd like to be able to insert adsense arbitrarily into content pages...
