Hey guys.

Few years ago one newspaper wrote negative article about my company. Now I have to do something to push it down because it's showing on our brand name keyword just one position below our main website.

This is how it looks like:

g08WDLg

They have strong domain with good content. We also got a positive article from the same newspaper which is placed below negative one.

What else can I do except that what I did already:

1. I made 1 new website with new domain (domain has our brand name). It's well optimized, has a lot of forum profiles, some manual backlinks, RankerX campaign and over 30 Tumblrs backlinking it. Still trying to scrape more Webs others than Tumblr.

2. I made new website using one of our older domains. Also made everything like above except Tumblrs.

Both pages got on 2nd page.

3. Someone few years ago also made another SEO support page which is visible on graphic above on 10th place. I will make some profiles and Ranker campaign split on 7 days.

What could I try?

1. Make some profiles/webs with brand on strong domains (wordpress, blogspot etc.) with hope that will get indexed high on brand keyword?
2. Buy some PBN services on both pages?
3. Maybe I could somehow increase amount of these alhorithm subpages visible below our website? I know that won't push this article down but probably people will keep looking on bigger results visible on 1st place.

Thanks in advice for help guys :)

All of the above? :D Might be better not to spread yourself too thin, though. Maybe try to create a couple of strong parasites and build links to those positive articles showing below the negative, especially the one on the same domain.

Also, you've probably tried it already, but if there's any way you could get that negative article down, consider it. If there's anything inaccurate or misleading in their review, that might work out. Long shot, but.

If you were able to get a new URL onto page 2 building junk links (forums, RankerX, etc.) then the keyword isn't likely very tough. Same goes for the fact that the negative is ranking #2/3 and has a double listing. Rather than low quality stuff, invest is higher quality content and placements.

do a really good press release and zap about 20k xrumer links to it.. That fucker should stick.

(y) I totally agree with your opinion

Thanks everyone for advices, I really appriciate that guys!

I will do this what you recommended - increase content and buy links in some better places with some PBN services.

If someone else could add his idea, I will be grateful :)
