How to push a site past page 2?

Hello guys, I have ranked about 4sites on page 2 all for different keywords but they just dont want to move to page 1, I was using GSA SER to build backlinks to these sites, but is there something that I could do that could increase the ranking significally? They've been at page2 for a lot of time.

This seems to be happening a lot lately - at least for me - try social signals and high PR links.
 
You need to keep building backlinks especially High Pr ones
 
Just create a steady flow of web2 links hitting your site each day.

Same here, its some kind of Google block and to push the site even further you need other juice beside backlinks.. social signals have proven to work best for this.

Social signals will help.
 
okay guys I tried adding social signals(g+1's to be exact), on 3sites but the sites did not even move from the places they were, anything else I could possibly do?
 
None of my sites on the first page have any social signals (at least none that I bought). Just get some high PR homepage links, make sure your anchor text ratio is diverse, and check your on-page for over-optimization of any words/phrases (even if it's not the keyword you're directly targeting).
 
you need to add related article (make/post new article) to each keyword,.. for ex, I made a post about "how to kill a bird" and I try to rank that keywords and get stuck on page 2 I would add another related post "how to kill 2 birds with one stone". at least it work for me, you need to avoid excessive backlinking otherwise you don't know what penalty await you behind.
 
thanks for the suggestions, if anyone else has anything else to add please do :), I actually have 7 websites on page 2 for different keywords but cant get page 1....
 
You can go the short way, and use the "top 10" trick? Google loves these.

Pretty much echoing what everyone else is saying, but diversity is key and that sounds like it might be your problem.

Based on what you said it seems you relying on GSA to rank your sites. So like others said I would continue doing what your doing, in addition focusing on getting a steady flow of diverse social signals sent to your site (FB, Twitter, G+, Instagram, and even Pinterest)

Not knowing much about your keywords it's obviously hard to say how difficult and how many to send, but you might also try buying some HQ, High PR, Low OBL blog posts from the Marketplace in addition to your GSA backlinks
 
Social signals may help, or try to build multydimentional tree of links.
 
yep its social here , after a lot of CTR through facebook on to mydomain/key-word it seem to do the trick VERY FAST.

of course this is real views , by real people . the results were quick . 24hrs

I'm a wedding photographer, after a week from the wedding I post a sneak peak from the wedding. I share a photo on facebook ( taggin like 10 people , an paying usually around $20 to make sure every friend of friend sees the photo ) to a hidden page on my website with 50 photos usually, 200 words about the couple and their wedding video on myebsite/wedding-photographer-new-york

I have an optimise video , optimised photos and article .

it's pure white hat . more than 1k visitors on the page .
 
Is nobody stopping to think about onpage metrics? What's your keyword density like? Do you have plenty of images, video and OBL to authority sources?
