how to proxy (n00b q)

basically all i need is less than 10 'proxies' so
i could join this one site as different IPs.
how to do this for free/low cost?

is there a thread/ebook in here about this?
pls post link.

(i saw the "proxy lists" forum and there are lists
of IPs in there. how/where do you use them?)

you can read the frontpage of cloakfish.com for a list of ways to change your IP then pick one that's appropriate

I can help you. I have hundreds of proxies which are exclusive and not shared. You get to keep them as yours for the entire time you rent them.

I have many clients using them for ebay accounts and paypal. They simply remember which ip to use for that account and don't mix the ip's with the other accounts.

I don't want to ruin your business rcom but to be fair this guy is really new and won't need the benefits of private proxies.

Do a search on google for proxy lists, or use the ones provided in this forum. Then search for a proxifying program. I believe there is one called "proxify", download the program and import the list of proxies you have found. Otherwise search "anonymous surfing" on google and it will give you a list of sites which will hide your IP as you surf. For basic use of proxys you do not need to pay for anything. There are free services all over.

so we could use this to have multiple accounts (on ebay for example) without getting caught?:confused:

That should supply you with plenty of proxies. Just read the documentation first.

Not if they are smart....because it has a random IP each time you would be effectively connecting to your account from Africa, USA, Germany, Japan, China, Australia each day and they will track this, know its not possible and probably ban you. Thats just a guess though, I don't know if they do this. But it isn't a perfect solution. Paying for private un-used proxies is the best way to go for absolute assurance, then use the same proxy for the same account. But you could test it out and see if you get banned before you fork out any money.
 
one more question...i have internet explorer and firefox installed in my computer....lately ive been using firefox only, and i was banned from a site and i tried to enter the site using firefox it wouldnt let me, but when i used internet explorer i was able to enter the site and create a new account...i was surprised cuz in firefox i could not even enter the site as a guest....does this mean that theres a diferrent IP address for firefox and internet explorer?

No there isn't, you have an IP address for each network interface on your computer. So when your IP is used to identify you for every program that uses the internet, IE, Firefox, MSN, Skype etc. Try clearing your cookies / temporary internet files in Firefox and try the site again, it should work then.
 
If you need only proxies to surf anonymously and find tor is difficult to get a specific countrie IP, I would suggest to try software "mask surf". It uses TOT and able to get IP of a specific country. Just give a search on Google to find download link.
