How To Protect Your Facebook Fan Page?

I recently created a fan page on facebook. It was a soft-adult fan page. I tried to provide good content and hand picked the content to make my fans happy. That way i got like 20 new members daily after a week. Today i got an email that my fan page was shut down because someone had complained about it. I never advertised anywhere, so whoever got the page shut down visited my page or was a member.

My question is, how will i fight such badass people and protect my investment on facebook? Any insight is welcome.

Fan pages containing Adult material are not allowed on FB.

It will surely get banned at some point of time.

What do you mean by soft-adult? :P
 
I didn't share nude pictures on facebook. I shared the dressed photos on facebook, and put links to the nude ones hosted on another site. Is this still subject to ban? It's annoying how easilly your page can get shut down. How does blackhat people do stuff on fan pages.

*Soft-adult = hq nude pics of beautiful girls.

BTW, i saw a gazillion of fan pages with hard core porn content on facebook.

What if create a fan page to advertise an adult web site, without using any unaccepted content? I'll get people to see the website for sure :)

you have to move those fans to different fan pages that you own that way if anything
happerends you still got some fans.
So for example I get my website vistors to join my fan page then I create
another similar fanpage and get them to join that and so on. You have to
diversify when it comes to IM
 
It will have probably been a random user 'passing by' that has reported your page. Most adult related content will be reported.

BlackHat is not only Related to Porn or adult material.

They are the Fan pages which still havent been reported.
 
same thing happen with me after 200 or 300 likes its get shutdown
 
Yeah you will find the odd few fanpages that are still up and running, but a lot will have already been deleted and more being deleted daily :)
 
I Recommended that Create A Iframe That only fans CAn only view you can google it very easy to do or search for tabpress It has same Featured like I frame html etc... I hope It helps

well if some of your likers report your page you will get ban XD
 
I wouldn't even mess with this, I have tried several times, one of my pages was up to 12k fans and then removed. It's not Facebook that even monitors it, but people that view the page can mark it as inappropriate.

Your idea is excellent but you also mentioned it does have some hiccups too.

I feel someone who is an unknown competitor reports the page and gets it banned and he can even do it by being a fan of your page.Cannot help this situation.

Can this happen to non-adult pages.Like other stuff like health tips fan page.Are there any chances of such a helpful fan page getting banned.

Can we Use content locking offer on our Fan page or will it get banned ???

Thanks for your kind replies. As i understand from your replies, building fan pages are like building skyscrapers on sand. I'll think of fan pages as disposable objects from now on and set up simple disposable pages.

Now i wonder whether there is any automated way to create facebook accounts and facebook fan pages. Any insight is welcome

I hope not, but I can't assure you it won't. You're given a chance to explain the complaint content when they shut down or warn you about it. So i don't think it'll be an issue but might your pages get shut down for a short while maybe.

Is it possible to lose a decent legit fan page for invalid complaints then?
So is it gone when it's gone?

What was your banned 12K fan page about?
 
Yes it is. Mine was banned for no good reason. Someone or some people marked content as offensive and they blocked it so I cannot post link to my site anymore. Unless you are a massive site you will not get unbanned.

Then my new approach, assuming that fan pages are disposable is a good one. I'm grateful that it got banned so early, i would be pissed badly if it was banned after gathering several thousand members.
