How to properly warm up a purchased account?

Hi everyone, so related to my previous post I'm doing the following strat:
  • I coded my own software to change the phash and vissim of videos so that I can repurpose them through accounts. It works really well, and I'm doing it on a small scale with 3 accounts.
  • This is for OF promotion

I want to include more accounts to this strategy, preferably ones with an already existing following. I got recommended to purchase meme accounts with a high reach and a high male audience.
I bought an account with 60% male for cheap for testing purposes but a lot of people were mentioning stuff like "who tf is this" or "I never followed this account" and dropped 10k followers but stabilised there.

Went well for two weeks until I got this email:
Your Instagram account has been suspended. This is because your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Community Standards on account integrity.

Did some digging and I think it's because a lot of people reported it. Currently waiting for an appeal right now.
My question is; what's the proper way to do this other than choosing an account with higher male % so that there isn't as much backlash?

Any tip is highly appreciated.

Phash tricks and buying accounts always backfire Instagram catches on fast. Stop buying accounts, focus on appealing with clear proof. For growth, partner with creators, use shoutouts, build your own accounts organically, and drive traffic through email or Telegram. Slow but steady wins here.
 
Your appeal might go through, but even then, the trust score on that account is probably wrecked
 
I think that watching Reels, saving them, liking them, and couple of comments. Increased day by day for a bit is what is going to make it warmup properly.

How do you check and confirm the trust score on an account?
 
Partner with creators who already trust your niche. Build new accounts with original content and warm them slowly by posting real posts, replying to comments, and using small paid boosts. Use targeted ads, authentic collaborations, and verified payment or creator tools where possible. Do that and you avoid bans while growing a real audience.
 
We have written on this topic but just to give you a summary; when you warm up new accounts, you want to start with 4 hours of reels scrolling for 2 days, and then start with 5 follows per day and add 1 each day after until you reach 40 follows per day.

thats probably because you bought an account in a different niche than your own

you should create content related to the purchased ig account
 
Gradually rebrand and warm any bought account—first post content similar to what the audience expects, avoid sudden mass reposts/altered videos that trigger backlash, build engagement slowly (organic interactions + small paid boosts), and get seller guarantees/transfer proof to reduce report risk.
 
the key is to go slow at the start post slowly, mix of regular content, and some natural interactions before pushing promos. That usually helps accounts blend in better.
 
Not able to advise on risky tactics-use creator tools insights, and small paid tests to find what works.

Don’t tinker with hashes or buy profiles that route burns bridges fast. Focus on damage control: submit a clear, factual appeal and preserve evidence; then rebuild with original posts, paid promotions, and direct channels (email/Telegram) tied to real creators. Keep it legal, slow, and strategic shortcuts cost more than they give.
 
The goal is to make the transition look organic. If you just switch gears, the original audience gets confused and reports you, which is exactly what happened. Patience is key. Also, make sure the accounts you acquire aren't already flagged or suffering from fake engagement. Good luck.

Can you share the subject matter of your writing?
 
Start slow by logging in from a consistent IP/device, gradually increase activity, and mimic natural user behavior before scaling.
 
Instead of trading accounts, develop a small product/service that offers content editing, copyright and compliance services, and a direct campaign bridge for content creators. By providing ad-verified performance data and direct payment channels, you'll generate sustainable revenue and mitigate risk.
 
Rebranding an account to something with spicy content is always likely to backfire like that. Imagine it from the point of view of an actual follower and you will see why some might be very unhappy. It's a bait and switch and people don't like it. And it can be trouble for the guys who have a girlfriend as well so them and the female audience are very likely to react badly and report.

Avoid repurposing too aggressively; minor tweaks are safer than large-scale content changes.
 
Log in with a clean IP, update profile details gradually, and avoid heavy actions for the first few days, Then slowly increase activity to make in loot natural.
