How to promote?

To promote a clickbank product though article marketing/SEO, a blog? a landing page? what do YOU suggest?

All of the above. I use my own landing pages, as well as simple php redirect headers from my own domain to the sales page on clickbank's servers.

In doing this, I am able to funnel the customer into an optin email for access to the special page, which confirms they are who they say they are, as well as gives me a hot buyer for that given niche in my list instantly, with giving them the security of buying from clickbank.

Works like a charm and doesn't break any of their rules, as you aren't misleading any of the clients in the promotion process or taking them to another promotional page, which is the issue CB has a problem with.
