Other than the basic version of promoting... like putting the design on these sites like cafepress and screened. So lately I have been making tshirts,I draw the design out myself(on paper) and has them printed, and sometimes I print them.
So she has a website, she hand coded. Pretty decent site. How would I promote it... There is only 10 or so designs but they are really good quality
The site
awesomesaucemcgee.com

Mods, I am not trying to promote through here at all, if you feel I am, please remove the link and name.

Any ideas on a good way to just get this out there to the artistic community

Did you think this before starting this business?
In any online business, you must know well in advance about how will you promote it, what is your customer base and etc.etc.
I am laughing my a** off that you first started this business and now thinking how customers will come (or if there are any customers at all! )

Facebook Marketing is still effective. Create the page, buy some gigs on fiver to get it some likes, and post on it daily for updates. Just a small solution, hope this helps.

Selling t-shirts is extremely difficult. There are so many people selling them online nowadays. You definitely will need a fan base if you plan on doing this for a while. Try promoting on social sites like Facebook & Twitter.

@wrovan - I didn't plan on starting a business. I just wanted to make tshirts as my hobby, its just extra money. Don't get snobby. No one likes an asshole

@JimmyConway - thanks, i do have a page setup for it, maybe just need some followers to it eh ?

Get an internet celeb(FB would be good min, 10,000 fan base) to promote and advertise your top by wearing it in a status update and putting your link up (prepare for your website to be flooded with UV's).
Believe me I do the same with other products to great affect. Just PM them with an offer of a free t-shirt for promotion. Good luck :)

i will suggest Promote TShirts on Facebook.

Purchase advertising through Project Wonderful.

Participate in the forums of popular t-shirt communities

Set up an affiliate program

Submit to the major t-shirt blogs/sitesCreate an etsy store and sell a select number of your products through their site

Start a blog

Compete in one or two larger design competitions on sites like Threadless.

Find a hot chick on fiverr and pay her to make your video. Your video will be engaging and everyone knows google panda likes to be engaged.

Prob the #1 method. Find the hot chicks, have them wear your gear,, bingo..

get the girl who has the biggest tits you know and stick her in a t'shirt 3 sizes too small and take a pic.

post to facebook with your site both mentioned in the comments and also embedded in the pic

Works with everything - from beer to cars and chewing gum (even domain registration and hosting)

ok ok ok all great ideas. I was looking for something not so obvious, for those I have thanked, I am using your methods in conjunction with what I am doing now.
So, I am participating in tshirt contest, working on the fiverr thing... but why wouldn't I just wear it myself ?
I do actually, but I want more visibility. I think I might need branding.
