I have been trying to get into the NFT wagon, so, i created some arts by working very hard for a week and uploaded them into a collection. and i post them on instgram and fb, but i can never get a sale. I see other people getting sales, and some of them are AI generated arts, and not very good.

SO, I wanted to know if there is any promotion techniques and workaround to get my first sale. I feel very drained and discouraged right now. or, is there anyway to make money from nfts, i want to know. I am on polygon, so, there is no gas fees.

The only people putting together successful NFT projects are putting a lot of money into it

I have a crypto YouTube shorts channel with traffic just picking up in thousands. Maybe we can JV in the future.

Mod:
I'm under the impression that you don't need Jr.vip for JV.

I think you should try tiktok, the target audience there is perfect. In addition, you can advertise influencer in your NFT...

I have some experience inside the NFT industry, I am also part of a private NFT artist workshop.
Last but not least I am an graphics and print designer, filmmaker, marketer and more (all creative soul) for 10 years now.
Promoting your NFTs is one thing, but offering an actual benefit for the minters is more important.
So think about what the people get / earn that join your project. If it's something whole new, you will be successful with it!
Another option is to create your own style and constantly create new nfts until some people buy it.
Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube are great platforms to start promoting your NFTs. Another good way is
Reddit and Discord. If you have any questions feel free to message me !

try to promote on reddit, there is some communities with this purpose

I have a discord server of 40.000 members and soon i will be releasing the project, so if you have any question dont hesitate to ask me.

there is also some investments i made so far.
40.000 people in discord i burned around 7000$ on workers, designer to create my 6666 nfts was 2000$ the guy to make my discord server really professional looking 500$. Website I made it myself. The actual programming of the nfts on solana I used my internal full-time developer from my other projects so for now all looks good.

Things I will do next is
Boost my presence on :
Twitter
Telegram
Reddit
Instagram

I still think it you are or not some well established person with crazy big following they won't just sell themselves

Also story and hype is important, regular nfts without the story or some developing project to back them up don't work as easy as they did.

Hey, I've done something similar on Telegram and FB. Telegram seems to be going ok, FB is terrible.
I also haven't launched yet, trying to grow much bigger first.
I do a few test runs. Like, in a random post I will say, 'launching soon - enter email on website for more info', so I can gage how well my groups convert. I get very little email sign ups.

Have you tested those 40,000 members? How many sales do you think you will get when launch.
I think most of my members are just looking for giveaways.

Will you have to pay fees to mint the NFTs?

I saw your other thread where you mentioned that you grew your discord server to 15k members within a week, and now I see it's at 40k. Do you mind sharing how are you growing it that fast?

Build a strong community & social media presence and it will boost sales.

Hey there guys.

I have tried several things and I can say what does not work and where you should not waste money on.

1) Shilling / soft shilling - does not give you results like it did 3-4 months ago, now only a few give attention to this
2) Discord DM's - Conversion rates dropped drastically from 2-3% to 0.2-0.3%, you can get some community with this, but it's got very expensive and definitely not worth the money imo.
3) Twitter giveaways - So many fake gurus now, selling their fake services it is extremely difficult to get attention unless you have contacts and know the influencers/kols that have legit audiences that are not inflated by bots.
4) Micro youtube influencers - again so many fake views and everything around, you have to be very suspicious on choosing them, and the better ones just charge so much that if you want a real hype, you need to spend a lot.

What I think that works, and needs to be pushed (still not fully tested)
1) TIKTOK/Youtube Shorts/Insta Reels - the video promotion is yielding some projects good results
2) PPC ads
3) Collaborations with very successful projects

Fix me if I'm wrong, but that's my experience

How are you managing it with PPC ads when most places ban crypto-related ads?

I'd start with the basic methods like twitter/telegram/discord shilling. As soon as you hit 1k on your Telegram and 500 on your Discord server, you can start shilling your subreddit. Then, pay writers to promote your project on their websites.

That's all my knowledge about crypto/NFT marketing.

Good luck :)
