How to promote my iPhone app?

Hi Guys,

I have an iPhone app I like to market.

I have tried using admob but the damn thing s*cks so bad. I can't get any of my adcopies approved and it takes ages to do something with them. I can push some funds towards it but I'm looking for a good network to run some ads. Apart from admob is there any other good networks out there? The app is targeted at UK users only.

Any help is appreciated.

Chartboost, revmob, playhaven are all good. I have many, many apps and run many services. PM me if you need any advice. I have been doing this for 2yrs fulltime. Be careful of the ecpm promises, it is a huge mistake for new people in the industry that is for sure.
 
If tis free apps then you should share it on the various iphone forum and if its good apps you will get lots of download if its paid one provide demo first then sell pro
 
You can give a thought for "Facebook Mobile App Install Ads" That thing helps a lot too
 
You can promote these on social sites, where he fast famous as there is lot of people interact with each others.
 
From experience, you can also tap reviewers and offer them to feature your app. I'm not sure if you're using the special codes you get from Apple to let a few download your app for free (if it's paid). A lot of reviewers are looking for apps to feature and you can find them anywhere. Just don't expect a biased review, it's always best to see how users see or react to your app and improve from that. At least that's how we got things going.
 
Getting more ratings and good reviews for your app is definitely helpful for app promotion.

There are a lot of options. For example:
  • Incent and non-incent traffic.
    Keep in mind that a lot of users tend to trust other users’ comments and rates about Application. It will be more appealing for your target audience if they find positive reviews and 5 Stars rate. i can provide more information about it in PM.

  • Scrupulous work on ASO.
    The goal of ASO is to increase the findability of your app within app stores, translating to higher downloads and more users. More info in PM.

  • SMM.
    Post and spread about your App as much as possible

  • Trend-person comment.
    Ask famous person in relevant industry to give comment or share your App
 
What worked for me was ASO + incent installs.

Incent installs alone are worthless, but when your app is optimised properly for your search terms they'll boost your app in the search ranking.
