How to promote my business...

Hello,
So i have tried my hand at many different online money making plans and made a few bucks here and there, but everything led me to create my own business by making a product, creating a website and selling my product. My only problem is that i am having trouble getting customers. I dont want to give away my idea, but what i make and sell is a quality product and i sell it for a fraction of what my competitors do. I am just not recieving the right amount of traffic. Any help to kickstart my business and bring in some customers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What kind of methods are you currently using to drive traffic? Are you ranking for relevant keywords on the organic list? Social media like twitter or pinterest could be another alternative. Have you tried paid traffic sources?

As of now I am using Twitter and Facebook. I have tried a few forums as well. As for ranking for keywords im not sure how to do so because my site is rather simple. Not a lot of words or articles.

Save few $1-3k, create 2-3 websites, rank them using services from BHW.
In worst scenario 1 website may be ranked and you will get customers.
In best scenario you may have 2-3 domains in top 10 for your competitor money keywords.

If you dont have $$ maybe JV with someone will help you? You provide product, your partner seo service and you split earnings.

Maybe you could look up what strategies your competitors use to market their product, and replicate them (but better)? Try a search and see where their name pops up Could also contact bloggers in your niche and see if they would be willing to do a review for your product on their blog.

Generate your traffic through FB or twitter and other organic ways...

Forum posting works very well to get customers quickly if you can find forums in your niche! second best is to do SEO and get in the TOP 5 for your keywords! You could setup an affiliate system as well and ask people to help you promote your stuff! There is a very good and easy to install affiliate system out there that can be used.
