The first thing you need to determine is whether you want to focus on paid traffic source or free traffic source.
In regards to paid traffic sources, your best choices are...
- Facebook ads
- Google Ads
- YouTube Ads
- Snapchat Ads
- Bing Ads
I know there are dozens more but these are the ones I would focus on at the beginning. If you need to focus on only 1 i would strongly advise you to go with Facebook ads. You can either use it to promote a facebook business page and link to your blog (best way) or just promote your blog directly.
On the other hand, if you want to focus on FREE traffic sources well, the choice is even easier...SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING!
This isn´t the only option, there are other free alternatives to promote your blog´s content like email marketing but even here you need to pay to a good email marketing service like GetResponse or Aweber so it´s not 100% free.
Social media, on the other hand, receives over 4 billion users every single month and half of that alone is through facebook. But this doesn´t necessarily mean you should ONLY be focusing on Facebook. Since you already mention you´re receiving traffic through Pinterest I would recommend for you to also focus on...
