how to promote iphone app/game

My new iphone game went live 5 days ago and got around 100 downloads without any promotion.

Anyone experienced with iphone games promotion? Pls PM me if you can help me drive more downloads... willing to pay for your help.

Congratulations on doing this, it should really be the way to go in IM. Have you considered popular directories to feature your games on? Social media should also help make it viral depending upon how appealing your game may be.

since this is my first app, i am finding it hard to create campaigns on networks like chartboost, revmob etc, what do we have to add in url column? the itunes page of your game?

can u pls PM me with your skype if u have done this before?
 
I suppose you could get it on some big sites related to whatever it is about. Social media etc.

Get social media targeted traffic you will get more than what you looking for

facebook ads , advertising on insent networks (to increase number of downloads) , buysellads , direct advertising on game related forums and related games.

type of advertising depends upon your game.

We can highlight our apps via Infographics, Case Study & Videos. And make sure need to target audience. In part of promotion banners also really works perfect.

If client budget very low means best content marketing, relevant forums discussion and much more.

best way is spam yr game to death its free and gets the job done if its an addictive game

Apart from that you can

1)Create a Fan Page on Facebook
2)Advertise on popular App review sites via BuySellAds
3)Get it tweeted by popular people
4)Contact famous Youtubers and Viners to do a campaign about your app.
5)Do a PR Release

The most imp still would be Store Optimisation.

A lot can be done. Just research on the subject.
 
Advertise it like you would a website. Just.Facebook ads, pages, twitter accounts etc.
 
Social media OP, it's the way to go. If you have some followers then your good to go. If not just pay someone to promote your app on their social networks.

Good luck with the promotion.
 
try to get your app reviewed by famous bloggers. If you can get a single review from a blog like idownloadblog your downloads will fly.
