One of my clients asked if I could help them promote one of their paid iPhone apps. I know a bit how to promote an app of what I read here and on the net, but I never promoted an iPhone App before. So basically I was wondering if anyone here has some great success with that and could help me or give me some great tips/secrets or do the job (in that case, PM me).
These is what I know what you can do to promote an app, but I have a few questions:

    - app store SEO (tag similar apps)
    - Write a press release (where to place them regarding iPhone Apps?)
    - Creating a website regarding your app (SEO)
    - Creating a twitter account regarding your app (using tweetattacks)
    - Create a YouTube video regarding your app (buy views)
    - Write to app review blogs/sites and ask them to write a review about your app (which ones are the best?)
    - Buy ads from mobile CPC & CPM networks (which are the best for paid iPhone Apps?)
    - Get some great reviews on app store (anyone offering this for paid apps?)

    Anyone got some more tips/advice?

    lol?

Anyhow, i believe you got everything you need.
But here is my 2 cents regarding app promoting.

Try offline methods. once you get everything online set up. start an offline campaign.

    1. I am pretty sure that your client can offer a free version to some users.

Therefore, it could have a share option to make it viral between other Iphone users( friends, family, etc)

pretty much its just to make it viral, and depending on the quality of the app. Sales will come eventually.

The offline promoting is meant for others users go to the online tools available for review and generate some keyword research to start gaining some authority.

    You're welcome... LOL :p

Thanks, offline promoting using QR code could definitely work, I just don't know how effective it is! Giving away a few free versions is a good idea!

Anyone got some more tips/tricks to share?

    Thanks for sharing.

Don't forget promote apps via Facebook ads.

Facebook provides opportunities for developers to offer ads for their apps to a specific target audience. So, when a developer signs up for this kind of promotion, they can pick can choose which audience or audiences that they want to appeal to.

    Here are ways I know.

    1. Submit your App to App Review Websites
App review websites can do more to promote mobile apps in one day than you can do in months. Be sure to study their requirements for inclusion and pitch them carefully. If you are accepted it will be well worth the time that you spent seeking it.
Besides this, I would like to share you other ways to rank app.

    2. Buy App Store reviews
This reviews provider will guide real users to install app, play and reviews it with ratings. This method will rank app top in a short period. At the same time, the traffic is from real users which is organic. It will Not have bad impact on apps.

    3. ASO Services
In Trending Searches, Categories(Games, Social Networking, Utilities, Kids, Entertainment or any other categories) and Top Charts, such as Top Free, Top Paid are great!

    4.. Exchange installs & reviews
Some forums and social media networks will help publishers exchange installs and reviews each other, such as Facebook Group.
However, generating installs or reviews from real publishers will take much longer time. Because it is not so easy to get some ones to help you and some of them will not do same for you.

Sometimes less the price and post your app link to hot deal niche and if you can make price for free then post it on freebies or giveaways. So that, you will get huge downloads and apple algorithm will save the process of ranking and make again regular price and you will get same user acquisitions on paid version too. This method is totally free.

I'm planning to try Facebook Ads by myself for my app. I will post the result of my campaign and anything I discover during the process.
