How To Promote A Website

hi guys,

I've created my first blog, added a few articles and the required plugins etc.

Now I'm left wondering how exactly to promote it. I've read countless threads with lots of filtered and diluted info that comes in dribs and drabs between semi coherent posts.

What i'm wondering is does anyone know of the location of a simple abc style guide?

Here's my current understanding.


a)create blog
b) add content
c) backlink with articles, blog comments, directory links


This is about the limit of my understanding... is this very brief list pretty much it?

Or am I missing a crucial factor? (purely whitehat)

You understood the job.

you just need to optimise your onsite blog using any seo tools from thousands of providers for it.

Just google Seo tools and you will find what you need.

1. Backlinking , internal linking , external linking
2. Internal SEO
3. Promote on Social networking websites like facebook and stumbleupon
4. submit your website link on web directories
5. write articles on article writing websites.
6. Use All in one SEO plugin if your website is in wordpress
