If I was to market a new token, I would make sure that it is worth promoting in the first place.
Does it have an actual use case?
In other words, is there any kind of online transaction or activity that this token is designed to facilitate?
Is it linked with existing online businesses or markets and exchanges?
Barring that, is it associated with any kind of specialized activity?
Like maybe graphics artists or video editors?
That kind of thing.
That's what I would focus on because I'm interested in the long-term adoption and health of the token.
Now, if I was just looking to make as much money as quickly as possible, then I would do what other grifters who shill questionable token would do.
I would get a list of all the Telegram groups crypto speculators hang out on and start plugging away.
I would get a list of all the Twitter influencers and start mentioning them in sending out spammy news releases about the token.
I would also spam the press release platforms with "news" about the token.
I would get in touch with influencers on TikTok and YouTube to get them to mention the token.
There's just so many things you could do.
The list that I've given you above is precisely how people get a token to go from zero to tens of millions of dollars in a very short period of time.
It’s a question of volume, focus, dedication, and resources because everybody knows the game plan.
And a lot of the tokens out there — let's admit it — are shit.
So, if you really want to promote a new token you believe in, focus first on use case value and then work press releases to get the word out.
Because at that level, you're not really promoting the token so you can 5x, 10x, 1000x its price.
Instead, you're looking for adoption.
You're looking to be taken seriously.
The key here is to issue press releases that are actually newsworthy.
How do you do that?
Well, you need data about your industry.
You also need to position the token based on its actual use value and the news that this can be a game-changer.
And if you do it right and your token is somehow connected to a tech trend, you'd be surprised as to how many mainstream news outlets would pick up on your release and thereby help explode the brand of your new token.
In this legit white-hat approach, the focus is on brand building.
And you can't get from Point A to Point B without use case value.
It has to be used for something real.
