How to promote a beverage brand online?

Soon I'm launching a new energy shot brand in Europe. Right now several guys are working on a website which is WORDPRESS based. I was thinking to hire several young guys to create a buzz on the web about this new drink. What do you think about this? Or maybe a good SEO geek might help me out with this thing? Just want to discuss about this with you guys. Hope you will help me out

depending on your budget...I would hire a few different guys on here that all have different services in order to create a Buzz in different areas...

Hire some guys. They will get a big advertising campaign going...I remember seeing Mountain Dew being advertised on Facebook when it was coming to UK. Things like that will get it known.

Find different food blogs, forums, etc. Send the blogger and moderators free sample and ask for a review. Send them a year's worth of product.
Maybe sponsor gaming competitions, I think Monster and that do that now. I remember a friend of mine saying Monster was willing to sponsor him, he was a 'pro' gamer.

Do videos of people testing it/tasting it/enjoying it/talking about it.

Post the videos on Youtube and anywhere else.
