Hi everyone!

I am now working with a project in PLC (Power Line Communications) as a project designer. PLC ia technology that allows one to automate different activities. For example, if you want to automate a house then you can use PLC. I have difficulty with my programming since I am not so good about it.

Does anyone tried using PLC Technology? What programming language best fits for this?

Thanks.

:D I thought you are referring to a programmable logic controller.. But if it is, then you should have a corresponding software for plc then I can help you by a little when it comes to programming it..

Well you can integrate it with existing audio recognition software and then when a owner of house says something that thing makes your software send the code to the machine and according to the code machine then executes something.

Best language for this I think would be assembly as it would require you to work with some obscure electronics

It is not the programmable logic controller but the Power Line Communications. I just meet this technology and I am very interested to learn as I am very willing to use this at home.

I thought this is similar with Programmable Integrated Circuit but it is totally different. The control panel should be a java application where it can be installed in a laptop or iphone.

I guess I need to study and research more.

So do you have or thought of purchasing any hardware equipment that you would use for PLC? I do belive that the programming will be dependent on the type of equipment you would use for automation.
