How to prevent Google from suggesting competitor?

    I'm sure you have all seen where you search for a certain keyword and Google states, "Did you mean xxxxx" instead.

    How do I get google to stop suggesting my competitor for my sites name? Names are similar, similar niche, etc.

    You need to build links to 'establish' yourself.
    You need to let google know that your site/keyword is not an accident.

    Thanks, I have been doing it for a year but just have to be persistent I suppose.

    Finally got to the point Google was no longer telling me of my competitor when I searched for my own name but now it is doing it again. I fucking hate Google.
