How to prevent from Paypal's temporary holds on payments

Yesterday paypal doe the same thing with me. They hold my payments and i can't withdraw or send money to anyone and paypal is asking for bank and tracking and shipnment documents.

As i am living in that country which isnot supported by paypal so can't provide real documents to PP.

So heres the twist i do:
I contact my vendor that I am going to refund your money and i need a little favor from your side. Am giving you a plimus payment link where you can deposit my service fee over there by using your paypal option.

And hooray, the vendor agreed and i issue a refund to him. (remember my account was hold and i can't withdraw and send money to anyone)

Then i sent a plimus link to my vendor an he paid me over there.

Payment received :D

Gift avoids the problem? Not true, by repeated direct experience I can state that a cc donation can be frozen exactly in the same way (possibly with account limited and always asking tons of info).

One time they not only blocked the donation... they even demanded some made-up ranting garbage like "provide proof that you are authorized to collect charities plus associate the bank account of the charity for due diligence, otherwise we close the account".

This is ludicrous because there are tons of sites that receive donations as private entities (buy me a beer) without representing anything humanitarian. So what gaypal looks for is a high risk to lose the money, the rest is irrelevant. Odds are they will reverse the payment themselves.

FYI, It is not always automated at all. It is more often than not a manual check/ human decision caused by some automated alarm due to a high risk payment.

You were lucky, sometime they also limit the account (have manyyyyy).
:P

Get the person to send you funds as gifts next time around. That should go through directly without prompts or debates.

When I have a problem I give them a call. Then present your self in an open and honest manner.

PayPal are ASSHOLES! Each person you talk to says something completely different and opposite from the last and they lack the ability to reason like a normal human being. It's like they breed super retards right there in the corporate office.

The only way I found how to prevent Paypal's hold is to not use Paypal.

Sorry but its the truth.

For everyone using PayPal in the United States, please click on this link and file a formal complaint with the FTC, that is the Federal Trade Commission.

https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en

here is the status of PayPal:
paypal is a money lender, acts as a merchant account between two parties and is a bank however, they are not regulated, and they are not considered a bank or to be in the banking business.

Here is the actual status of PayPal:
PayPal is actually functioning as a bank. PP is unregulated. this is where the problem is. report them and make them accountable and resolve all of those unregulated ridiculous rules permanently.

On the other hand, if you are running an actual business, there is no reason why you should not have a merchant account, this means to not accept PayPal.

I have always set my paypal account up as a business account. Submitted all paper work, EIN and so on.

Then I contact them and tell them what sites I will be selling from and the prices. So each site I add an email address from that site.

with contacting them and letting them know what sites and the amounts Has worked for me. Before I started doing this i would get a hold all the time and have to turn stuff in and wait.

So if I'm setting up a business and using PayPal for payments, I first need to contact PayPal to let them know what I'm doing. And I also need to set up a business account?
