How to prevent being scammed

I'd like to know, on Black Hat World, how can we protect ourselves from being scammed when conducting transactions and buying/selling without any escrow services? Is it just a matter of intuition? Or are there other methods and approaches? I would appreciate your opinions. Thank you.

you need to use an escrow
stay away from telegram
avoid crypto

and you also need to send a message to the seller on BHW, otherwise, mods will just reject your dispute based on their lame 2026 update

prioritize old and active members, deal with them on BHW, use an escrow, pay with paypal or card

if you insist in buying from a random dude on telegram, with his account created n may 2026, and crypto payment, you are exposed to scams

Read the reviews of the BST. Avoid using the service from a new account seller. Contact only via BHW PM.

escrow.com if you need something more traditional, not necessarily about crypto

anyway...if the seller refuses escrow for any reason, just block them, there is no reason to not accept escrow, just scammers do that

You've been warned twice for mentioning services that "may be used for fraud" and may be involved in "secondary scams". People in glass houses etc.
