How to pretend to be an expert?

Spend some time on warrior forum and you will get to know the answer of your question- [h=2]How to pretend to be an expert?[/h]

Pretending wont make you money.

Horseshit. You ever been to Warrior Forum? Any coaching or ebook there is pretending and I can name many who have made millions.

Do you even know what you're talking about.

The money is only in the list if you are providing value. Remember that op!

It's not about being an expert. That's just vague advice.

There are a lot of people in the IM information space who know really nothing but make millions of dollars. Part of it is making people believe they are experts. The other part is by providing actual value. At the core of some of their businesses is the same information you find on here. Local biz consulting and SEO. Private blog networks...

But people eat up their stuff because they want someone to believe in and follow.

Rather than try to become an expert - whatever that means. Make a goal of understanding what the people on your list want. Then make a plan of giving it to them in a way that will also make you money.

So you want to be an expert? Ok I will tell you how to be an expert in selling race horses- if a horse has a great looking set of legs it probley going to be a winning race horse. How do you tell if it has good looking legs easy the same way you know when a woman has a great set of legs.

Just do what most of the "gurus" on here and most forums do. Just keep reading and bs'ing like you're some big shot until people believe you really are.

Expertise is relative to your audience. If you (at least pretend to) know anything more than your prospect about something, you'll be perceived as an expert, which is why "gurus" and the like are able to sell WSOs, including those containing drivel like "the money is in the list," "build trust" and "deliver value."

Being perceived as an expert, or any sort of personality marketing, is really only needed if you're selling something with a limited value proposition. To sell something that actually has a value proposition, you only need to know enough about it to sell it, specifically to explain the value proposition and answer questions about it.

The real money is in a customer list.

Google can make anyone an expert these days. Copy the text, change a few words/structure, and you're done.

At least know what you're selling. Put together your words in a way that makes you sound professional. Show some of
your work and they will have no problem doing business with you. Stick to what you know & love

All you have to do is look thru the site and you'll find some people...

Get books about the subject, and take notes.

Easy way: Outsource it as tompots said.
Hard way ( and most fruitful way): Learn it. Google search is the best teacher ever :D

Being an expert doesn't sell, is the thing. Instead of trying to be an expert, try to be a renegade who lets people in on the secrets that the experts are concealing. For instance, sex experts might say that to be successful picking up random women at bars you need to be good looking, rich, and confident. But I would say that all you need is to learn four magic words that literally force any woman to sleep with you even if you're ugly, poor and have social anxiety.

Let's face it, people are lazy morons more often than not. If your list isn't full of such people, you've already messed up. But if they are, they will respond better to being sold dreams from a fake renegade than reality from an actual expert. If you write with confidence and imply things are easier than the experts let on, people will trick themselves into believing you because they want that to be true. And when they fail, they will blame themselves rather than you.

As long as you're in a niche where that is possible (weight-loss, MMO, PUA are the big ones), you will find that the real "value" you are offering your list is the chance to dream big. Most people on such a list will be perpetual failures and won't be angry at you when your advice leads to more failure. They'll simply assume they didn't follow it well enough, and buy more products you recommend because they don't want to let go of the dream.

Hope that helps :)

Just stay one lessons ahead, it's like teaching a kid how to play piano!
