Hey all,

So here's the deal. I'd really like too start a forum (as a matter of fact I have it up) but I can't find any software that pulls from yahoo answers.

I've tried

vumpost-can't find it and the ones that I can find don't post to the newest phpbb. Plus vumpost.com is down

Auto Forum Poster- terrible customer service and it works but posts nothing to my forum. Customer service finally gets back to me and tells me that they have a issue with vbullentin an they refunded me. I wrote back telling them I wasn't running vbullentin and they just didn't respond.

Jetconvo-Set it up and it didn't post. Other have had this problem. Email customer support 2 weeks ago and they haven't come back

Instadigi- Found a copy and had it installed but I keep getting a error message.

So does anyone have any experience with any of these forum posters that can help me or does anyone know of any forum poster that works?

Thanks

yea instadigi worked for me.. and alot of self spamming

Can someone find this and put it up in the members download section? Man this would be a sick ass program

I have the same problem with my classified site. Everyone says to just 'seo' it, but they are thinking like a content site and not like a forum. I'm thinking of making it a adult classified site and/or opening it up to bhw members to post as long as they do good backlinks and maybe charge a buck or something. Sorry it puts me on a rant as this is a really good tld and web 2.0 site.

Not trying to hijack your thread though so I would hire forum posters(pay them .25 per post for 20 words), and if you look around, you can easily find them.

I'd save the trouble and copy what a current forum has. It depends on how many members you want. A hundred members and if you are fast you can copy the posts and make it look legitimate. I've done it with a smaller forum so that's one method but it will take time probably a day.

Here is how you do it for a forum and fast too, go to freelance site find a bulgarian who can scrape databases then have him set it up so that every time someone posts on site A your site gets the same post and or threads added to your site.

Actually blackhatgawd, you have the right idea, to farm it out. the problem with a classified site is you have to do that with product. I'm thinking to farm with amazon ads, sprinkle some "legit personals, add some autoresponders, and call it a day. I think if I get traffic, open it up to bhw members.

Simple, get the vumpost you do have and install an old but compatible version of phpBB. Run it for a few days, and fill your forum with content then run the upgrade and convert to the newest phpBB so it's secure.

I've done that with Ico-Content, installed vB 3.6.7 and filled it up then upgraded to the latest version.

i went to microworkers and posted exactly what i want them to do on it... but yes you could simply hire one person to create a whole heap of accounts and get them to put up quality content

I always buy a forum and port all the users and conversations to my new forum, and do this with a few until I have some threads and posts.
