How to post your site on reddit without getting banned?

I have a blog that I use to give tips and guides about my niche, and in most of the articles I have some sort of link back to my product. I am pretty good at writing so the content is good and well thought out. I posted some of my blogpost links on reddit and i got banned within 2 days. Confuses me cause i was promoting real content and not just a link to my product or anything like that. Moderators even left a nice "f off" note for me too

How do you guys promote your blogs/sites on reddit without getting banned?

Ugh, reddit. It's just as bad as 9chan to me.

Reddit prides itself on being too smart to fall for affiliate links. They will rip you apart if you promote anything that you make money off of - no matter how well structured you may think it is.

Also, did you bother reading the rules of the subreddit you were posting in? Some of them don't allow that type of content.

And how's your karma? If it's low you're more likely to get your ass kicked for trying to promote your own content.

Work it in. You need an account that has a variety of posts. Make it as real as possible and if you're posting to a specific subreddit then post articles from other sites too. That way, when the mods to check your link history on a specific subreddit it will look as though you're not self promoting.

you own link should be 10% of all the content that you post to reddit.
build your account first, get some karma this also will help

Within 100 Reddit accounts, one account with 500 karma made $100 in a few hours self promoting. That's until when I kinda think it's low in activity and it doesn't make as much cause of history. Alien blue is a great app to maintain multiple Reddit accounts on phone too.

They're just like Facebook users. They're under the notion that they're experts in identifying spams and scams, yet they keep sharing freebooted videos and clicking clickbait links.

You're absolutely right.

Reddit has its own culture, one that I hate with a passion. Snotty, cheap ass kids who don't want to spend money but want everything for free. They're disgusting, degrading and at times inhuman yet they turn their noses up at people who post affiliate links. Like affiliate marketers are the scum of the earth.

Some people have really profited off of reddit but I find those cases extremely rare.

I've made different experience:
I have a few reddit accounts (2-4 years old, 0-200 karma, low activity, but real looking) and never had a problem with reddit posting.
As long as what you post is relevant and valuable to the subreddit you shouldn't encounter any problems.
