If you read my comment higher up in the thread I cleary explain that I've seen people still do it. I'm not sure exactly how they but I've described everything I could about it. And they are doing it, there's no question about it.
The comments stay up longer than 4 minutes, the stay up at least several hours.
So the question isn't if the method is dead or not, it's how do you do it.

dude just screenshot here any comment with link which shows 4 hr ago.

I'm in France so it's all in French but you can see one comment uses a normal link and lasted at least 1 hour, and the link was posted all over the comments.
The other one is the type of comment I was talking about higher up. And it's been there 3 days.

the trick is not easy as you think and its not for free you can make 10$ with one cmmnt upvoted in the top cmmnts

they're moderated, just not moderated before posting. It seems to me that customers are more likely to banner feedback with hyperlinks as junk.
The issue is that YouTube buries feedback almost immediately. You know that opinion you created that was really crazy and informative and that seems to be the top opinion like forever? They're displaying that only to you.

Why does it matter though? If you can't post it as your own comment and have to put the link in a reply, then just put the link a reply.
This goes to show the method isn't dead even it's not exactly how you'd like to do it, it's still doable. That's what counts.

it'll show untill some one other don't reply it, if you reply that post my comment will be hidden so no traffic

Man I showed you a comment where no one replied for 3 days straight, that's pretty good. And even if the comment only stays visible for an hour, if it's a trending video where 50000 people are gonna see it, that's pretty good traffic, it's worth it. And if it's a top comment people click to read the conversations and then the comment comes up. That's definitely better than nothing. It might not be as easy as it was but it's a way to do it.
Anyway I don't like spamming I prefer long term stuff so I don't care either way, I'm done with this conversation, peace!

I wish I could offer some help but unfortunately I have been experiencing the same issue you have.I have tried the twitter method and it didn't work for me either. Additionally, I tried to look into if my IP had been flagged and found no evidence of that being the cause. If you find some way to resolve this issue please let me know. Hopefully, it will just resolve itself with time. Good luck.

what if you create your youtube Channel or google plus channel with the name of the channel being the link so anytime you comment just ask them to go to your title name or channel? if instead of posting a link to a video I made what if i made a chanell into a video landing page say for local seo i make a channel for the business im doing the video ranking for and instead of posting a off yt link i post a link to the yt channel which would house all the videos i want them to see. i used to have a video showing how to turn any youtube Chanel into a landing page or has it how to turn a video into a landing page? i forget but i received a commmunity strike and do local business marketing and cant get anything to rank so if i switch off my router/modem and create a new ip address and build a new channel cleared of cookies and dont link off youtube in my descriptions but link to another yt chanell built for the biz im trying to get biz to i am keeping people onto youtube like they wish and also what if since u have to join yt partner program now to link on cards on end screens and during videos what if during the video your making that could be targeting anything easy to rank high for thats getting high monthly searches, what if that or those videos have your own commercials inside them like tv does that sends them to your offers, cpa, off site, etc..?

I am just trying to find out how it might work because I see people still doing this somehow. I am pretty sure it has to be old account (preferably with some uploaded videos) and channel where you post your links must have link in comments enabled - otherwise comment gets ghosted immediately. I saw few comments with links that stayed for few weeks on first comment page!

Some videos automatically hide comments with links propably are same options for this. I always look on second device for comment If I see it on newest section or not.
Second thing you need to have old account. I test this with only 2 years old account and my comments still are availible.
Dont post to many comments 5/day/account is safe.
Use proxy on each account... I do this with VPN.
Ofcourse this is only few things what I know but still I have problem with ranking comments

Yes you can, but there are some factors to take into account when using links in the comment section.

First, make sure the comment and link is relevant to the video and that you don’t just comment with a link. This means that the channel owner is less likely to remove your link and that YouTube won’t flag it as spam.

Don’t comment with links more than 30 times a day or in quick succession else YouTube will flag you as a “spammer” and your links will only be visible to you (a feature YouTube included so that spammers can’t tell if their links are visible to others or not.
