Hello,
Taken inspiration from 7878 and various other methods and want my slice of the pie.
I'm going to cold call, aim for an in person meeting or at least an email so I can contact later. Reason for meeting in person is because I want to take on less clients but charge more, I do have previous work I can demonstrate.
Another reason why I want to meet in person is because I can establish trust, and upsell hosting along with the site design then SEO services around 6 months after the website launch.
Looking at multiple industries in my local area there's the search volume and a small amount of competition, so this strategy could be viable - only one way to find out!
My theory is the site will push them up the SERPS, I plan on setting up GA and CTA tracking so I can show the website has provided a ROI, but SEO can give higher ROI.
However I want to have a good pitch before arranging a meeting (duh).
By selling web design services I'm going to assume:
1. The client will want to see previous work
2. The client will want to see my website
3. The client will want to understand how this will benefit them. ROI and value to customers.
When turning up to a meeting, how do I present this to a client? I have a lenovo thinkpad I could use, however the screen is small (15" I believe?).
I want this to be snappy - I don't want to turn up with crumpled bits of paper and make a mess of this.
How do you present your pitch to clients when meeting in person?
