I have a wordpress blog. How do I ping every blog posts? Is there any plugin available so that I can add that and do auto pinging work for me.

Thanks

For a single post go to Pingler(dot)com and fill the fields with your info.

If you wanna automate it go to your WP admin panel, general -> writing then cut-paste the sources found on the pingler website at the very bottom of that WP admin page.

EOF :)

Or better yet use the Ultimate Plugins Smart Update Pinger it's a Wordpress plugin that will ping your post only when it's first posted. The built in pinger will also ping the sites on your list when a post is updated and some pinging services hate that.

There are others that do the same job but I've always used this one with no problems.

Use a pinging plugin -is use cbnet ping optimizer-with a good list - the one above looks pretty good but you can test it to remove non responsive sites.

Trust me, just install the plugin CBNet Ping Optimizer. It works perfectly for what you need, and you can even set it to not overping. You know those times when you update a page, and you realize you forgot to alter something, so you send it again, and then it would ping again? You can make it so that's no longer an issue in the CBNet Ping Optimizer settings, which are very simple.
