i recently did a redirect for one of my inner pages that was dropped of the serps i suspect due to an algorithmic penalty. the page used to rank on page 3-4 before it tanked, but now the new page doesn't appear at all. the 301 doesn't even appear in ahrefs.

how do i index the 301? thx

How long has it been since the redirect?

You mentioned that the page is no longer showing in the index. Is the page you redirected it to now appearing in the index? If yes, the Google is aware of the 301 and there's nothing more to do on your part.

Don't worry about the fact that you can't find the 301 in Ahrefs. It takes link research tools a much longer period of time to find 301s compared to backlinks.
