I want to start a web store with feeds of affiliate products. I am not sure which niche to choose.

Everytime I think I have something I get scared off by thinking "the bigger competition has this market locked down".

Which, they pretty much do. I dont know how to start. Anyone else struggle with this before?

Every niche has big boys. Get used to it. Become a big boy yourself.

zmoney said it. become a big boy for a lesser dominated niche.

think like your favorite music artist., do a blog about them and put affiliates to sell their cds.. just a thought.,.

just pick something you like and something that is within you SEO capabilities, if you cant find anything within your capability then you know that you need to work on your SEO skills which is the one of the MOST powerful things you can learn.

im actually thinking about making a site to rank for "the sexiest guy on earth" and see how much va jay jay i can get haha

Little bit difficult to ensure you. Try to find out some optimum keywords. It basically depends on keywords research technique.
