How to pay someone cleanly over paypal

So I have to pay someone about $40 and don't want link it back to me, picked up a VCC from a gas station and loaded it with cash, but due to the newlaws I have to register it online. Not a big problem I set it up with some data that looks legit but now I find that the address does not validate. Hence it can not be used yet with paypal.

Any feed back or recommendations of another way or a place with each to verify VCC's ? Called the VCC and gave them some BS hence why i know why it wont validate. Not sure if I should risk putting another address on it.

Buy a GDMP card.

If JohnDoe can do that for $40, then later on he will definitely think of doing that for bigger amounts of money.
