Customers going to check out page and even proceeding to payment but the order is getting canceled. I checked the payment gateway and it is working totally fine.
  • What would be the reason?
  • How to overcome this?

It is possible that you do not have the security badge

Or you are targeting countries that do not have a means of payment

The solution is to retarget the Customers who landed on the check out page

And offering them a gift or a discount in return for a survey
 
Add a questionnaire to the end for anyone that don't complete.. single question - why did you decide not to complete the transaction

I have a security badge. The target audience is very focused (Narrow)

Okay, any idea how to do it in WordPress?
 
What is your CTA? Could you have told them there is a trial period, but then they still have to pay to get the trial? Myself I cancel such when it occurs. I suggest, since the visitors have taken time even to reach that page, consider having a quick form that pops up right after the sales page, or when the visitors hover towards the close button.
