How to order ghost followers?

Hi, I want to remove followers who have a large number of followings to fix engagement but I want to do this in steps. Is there a way to groups followers with >4000 followings, then >3000 followings etc so I can remove in stages and see how engagement improves.

Also will it hurt my account badly if I was to remove followers quickly ( not so quick I get AC) so that my account has negative stats. Or do this over a long period of time so that my account is still net gaining every week. This would take ages though.

Ghost followers won't really hurt your account, they are pretty much inactive and are just there. Removing them shouldn't necessarily negatively affect your account since they are inactive.

Instagram has been cracking down on suspicious activity lately, so removing large quantities of followers would probably result in getting banned sooner or later. If you are going to do this you would be better off removing only 50-100 followers each day. Yes it will be slow, but if you are able to spread it out you should avoid raising too many red flags.

Ghost followers most certainly will hurt your account if you are trying to monetize it or sell shout-outs. Engagement rate is one of the most important metrics for an IG account and with a lot of ghost followers the engagement isn't going to be great, lowering the value of the account.

I wanted to remove them because they never see my content. If they aren't engaging more followers don't see my content. So removing should result in more reach? This is based on the thought that it shows your content to a certain percentage of followers then increasing based on how many liked it

There are a few ways you can try to remove those fake and ghost followers.

Manually removal
You can remove fake & ghosts followers by yourself. All you need to is to click on the "Followers" tab in your profile. Check every single follower if it real or not. Click on remove or either block & unblock them. Don't do it too quick and don't remove too many followers in one session. Since Instagram's new updates in June, a lot of people get blocked from doing any actions if your cross the Instagram's limits.
Note: This method is not good to remove ghost followers.

Apps
There are many apps that can help you to remove fake & ghosts followers over Instagram. From my experience they're inaccurate. They can remove real followers as well. I won't really recommend for you to use it but it's an option. The app that I used was "Cleaner for IG"
Note: This method is automated so it can remove real followers by mistake.

There is an social media agency that I used to remove fake and ghost followers on Instagram. They remove the followers manually one by one from your account according to Instagram limits.
