How to optimize my new website in 2014

I want to do SEO for my new website (traffic yup). Please suggest me, how to optimized a new website in 2014.

It is not possible to explain in few words, you have to go and learn the subject first. Read more SEO blogs.
 
Start your SEO with on-page optimization, after that start building links. Directory submission, bookmarking, video creation, posting good quality contents with your website link(********) about your service in high quality domains and the important thing is you have to create links in regular basis.
 
Build a brand, build a social presence! target long tail keywords and don't get hooked on trying to rank 1 or 2 main keywords!!
 
Don't forget to use Google's PageSpeed Insights to see what errors your website has and what can be corrected. Errors and the like cause Google to give you minus points which will have direct consequences for the position of your website in the search results.

Low keyword density, anchor diversification, updating of website 2-3 times per week with 500+ word articles using images and videos, providing good information which leads to others linking to your website in the long-term.
 
Since you have the new site, i would suggest you to do link building to your site. Guest post, blog post and social bookmarking will brings some ranking movements to your site.. Also, make sure with the content quality when you go for link building.
