I am in the process of making an authority review site and I would like to get maximum traffic from my category pages by optimizing them for certain keywords.
I plan to make about 2000-3000 reviews and some categories might end up with 500 reviews/articles in it.
I am using excerpts for each review, added some unique description text on top of each category page to keep each category page 100% unique.
Given the fact that I will have categories with 500 reviews in them, I have to use some sort of pagination(unless I get a good suggestion here).
My question is: do I have to optimize all 500 excerpts in a category(that appear in 5-10 pages of one category) - or this will create multiple pages optimized for same keywords(the kw of first page of category)?
I know this is a strage thing to ask, but I really don't know what to do here. How do you optimize your category pages?
