I think Link building is the right choice for now
you can try it, it will help you.
Yes and No eg Beatles Main topic and Initially the ONLY topic for a new blog as an example take Mayo Clinic massive website blog they cover every health topic under the sun but if you were trying to start competing with them you wouldn't do all their topics you would say concentrate on Teeth or Eyes list all the conditions but start with Just 1 with say toothache do every article on lower jaw upper jaw foods that cause drinks that cause how to prevent how to use natural remedies etc and on and on. You would probably do 100 plus just on toothache then branch out from there still on teeth false teeth etc. You would also need to do other social channels in unison to make it work. At present, you said you do reviews listicles the Beatles Grunge bands you will never complete until you focus on one topic and start with the subtopic expand from there but you cant just do blog posts you need all the other social channels. If you do you can rank but there is lots of work. The reason I've wrote so much on this is that I am using your example with a client who says they got a fantastic web guy who helped them and dont need me they were happy they think with their SEO expert ! but he's buying spammy links and bogus clicks and they are all over topic-wise (their niche is real estate so quite challenging) they've since come back and said what do we need to do as they now say they cant see their website. Its on page 15 or some waste of space place on google. Now I did a website for another realtor I do not touch it since he stopped paying its been left doing nothing for months probably closer to a year now I just did a check on the buying intent keyword and it still ranks in position 1, 2 and 3 above zillow, homelight upnest etc but the foundation was put in place first I wont say as I may as well pick this sone up for another realtor. I don't know how you are financially but you will need to invest in yourself you can do it all yourself with the right tools and learn how to use them. I do consultancy but in all fairness it's prohibitive for those just starting with a new blog. There's lots of good info out there unfortunately its deciphering the good from the bad what I would say is do not buy a course of anyone saying phrases like earn 10k a week from your blog website. Personally, I think you need to do a lot more learning which is fine, I spent 4 years doing affiliate marketing I made zero then I thought do some adds might be good I saw a GURU on youtube I lost a few thousand. There's some short cuts to bring success quicker but even they need a lot of work good luck and do not stop learning. Apologizes grammatical errors i don't do blogs posts like thisDo you mean doing a cluster of keywords? Yeah, I've been trying to do that. I generally have at least 4-5 longer articles on a particular topic.
