How to open subfolder?

Hello, I know how to buy a domain with an old registration date and do SEO work. When I examined competing domains, I saw that they opened subfolders for old domains. I will put an example screenshot. How can I do that?

The subdomain becomes sub.exampledomain.com. What I'm asking is exampledomain.com > keyword
 
But the subfolder redirects to the main directory.
 
I think those are sub-category page and they redirected those sub-category link to main domain

The site content is only a single page. Doesn't use wordpress or anything else. how can I do that?
