if you wanna buy them, check out adsy. sort by link placement, there are some shockingly cheap ones out there. if you want organic ones look out for stuff that's topical in the news for example, and hit a gap in the information that's related to your niche. even if it's a single datapoint

Only two ways, invest in high quality content (Research based) but still in most of the niches, even if you create high quality content you wont get any links naturally. Getting link naturally sounds easy but its not. The second option is investing and buying expired domains create a network of sites. Second option is much better in my opinion.

Totally get your concern. Start by disavowing the worst spam links in Google Search Console. Then focus on building a few solid backlinks through guest posts, niche directories, or HARO. Quality matters way more than quantity, especially early on.

yeah i’ve been thru that too. what helped me was doing some guest posts on small blogs and dropping comments on niche forums (no spam tho). also used the disavow tool for junk links. i’d say focus more on real mentions than obsessing over metrics. feels more chill.
